Kinastigo ni Senadora Leila de Lima si Pangulong Rodrigo sa patuloy na pagyuko at pagsama sa China sa kabila ng kasinungalingan at kalokohan nito sa nangyayaring COVID-19 crisis sa buong mundo.

“Alam na ng buong mundo ang kasinungalingan at kalokohan ng China sa nangyayaring krisis sa COVID-19. Naghahanda na ang mga gobyerno ng ibang bansa na pagbayarin ang China sa kanilang kasinungalingan,” pahayag ni De Lima sa isang statement.

“Pero si G. Duterte, tuloy pa rin ang pagyuko at pagsamba sa kanila. ‘Pag hindi pa sya tumigil, baka madamay pa tayo sa magiging maaaring parusa sa China,” dagdag pa nito.

Para mapagtagumpayan ang giyera kontra COVID-19 dapat hindi magpagamit ang Pilipinas sa propaganda ng China.

“Tama na po ang pagiging pro-China. Maging pro-Filipino na tayong lahat,” sambit pa ng senadora.

Sa kanyang televised address noong Lunes ng gabi, pinasalamatan ni Duterte si Chinese President Xi Jinping sa kanyang suporta sa Pilipinas laban sa COVID-19 pandemic.

“I would like to thank President Xi Jinping for his support. Kung galing ng China, wala kayong problema,” sabi ni Duterte. (Dindo Matining)
